Austrian butanol import is expected to reach around €4 million by 2026, rising 2.9% annually. This marks an increase of 41.2% since 2000. In 2021, the United Kingdom led the ranking with €3.4 million, followed by Belgium, France and Germany. Meanwhile, export of butanol from Austria grew 20.2% in 2019 compared to the previous year, reaching €67,000. This was a 5% decrease since 2000. Portugal was the leading destination in 2019, with the United Kingdom, Netherlands and France coming in second, third and fourth.
