Irish butanol exports have dropped by 15.6% to around €8.3 million in 2021, compared to €9.8 million in 2020. This marks a 52.3% increase since 2000. Austria took the lead with €8.3 million, followed by the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and France. Irish butanol imports are projected to increase to €7.3 million by 2026, from €5.5 million in 2021. This is a 58.2% growth since 2000. Germany took the lead with €5.5 million, followed by Belgium, France and Germany.
