Polish imports of butanol are projected to drop by nearly one percent each year, reaching €775 million by 2026. In 2021, the country was 11th in the world, with imports of €855 million, having grown by an average of 2.3 percent each year since 2007. Greece overtook Poland that year, with Belgium, France and Germany taking the second, third and fourth spots in the ranking respectively. Polish exports of butanol are expected to fall by 2.7 percent annually, reaching €5.1 billion by 2026. In 2021, the country was sixth in the world, with exports of €6 billion, having declined by an average of 3.7 percent annually since 2007. Belgium was in first place, followed by the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and France in second, third and fourth place respectively.
