Kenyan goat production is projected to reach almost 4 million heads by 2026, according to a report. The report states that production has grown 5.3% year on year since 1966. In 2021, Kenya was ranked eighth, with 3.5 million heads of goats. Ethiopia had the highest production with 3.5 million heads, followed by China, Nigeria and Pakistan. The report predicts that production will increase 2.1% year on year until 2026.
