Export of Hungarian works of art is projected to fall 6.8% year on year to reach $1.5 million in 2026. This is a decrease of 5.1% since 1997. The country ranked 52nd in 2021, behind Ukraine's $2.2 million. The United Kingdom, Switzerland and France took the second, third and fourth spots respectively. Meanwhile, import of Hungarian works of art is set to grow 2.7% year on year to reach $16.6 million in 2026. This is an increase of 39.6% since 1997. The country ranked 38th in 2021, behind Portugal's $13.7 million. The United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates took the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
