Mauritian potash imports are expected to drop by 5.6% year on year until 2026, reaching 26,590 kilograms. This figure is 24.8% lower than it was in 1998. In 2021, Mauritius was ranked 88th, lower than Uganda's 37,190 kilograms. Belgium, France and Malaysia followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. In 2018, Mauritius exported 400 kilograms of potash, significantly down from the 1,490 kilograms exported in 2017, a year-on-year decrease of 73.1%. Since 2002, the supply of potash has dropped by 28.9%. Armenia outranked Mauritius in 2018, shipping 400 kilograms. South Korea, the United States and France came in second, third and fourth respectively.
