Ethylene imports to Uganda are set to increase in the coming years. In 2021, the country imported around 2,650 kilograms of the chemical, a 60% increase since 1999. This placed it 61st in the global rankings, behind Honduras. China, Indonesia and Germany were the top three importers, in that order. On average, imports are expected to grow by 3.3% annually, reaching 3,270 kilograms by 2026.
