Portugal's ethylene imports, on the other hand, are predicted to increase to 58.2 million kilograms by the end of 2026, rising 4.4% from 2021. Since 1993, demand has grown 77.6%. In 2021, Romania was the largest importer of ethylene with 44.1 million kilograms, followed by China, Indonesia, and Germany.
