Tanzanian lamb production is set to increase by 2.2% on an annual basis until 2026. In 2021, the country produced 28,540 metric tons, up 8.7% from the 1966 total. This placed Tanzania 55th in the world rankings, with Italy ahead of it with 28,540 metric tons. Australia, New Zealand and Algeria were in second, third and fourth positions, respectively.
