Uganda's lamb production is on the rise. By 2026, it is expected to reach 11,000 metric tons, an increase of 1% over 2021's 10,320 metric tons. Since 1966, production has grown by an average of 0.9% a year. In 2021, Uganda was the 70th largest producer of lamb, just behind Palestine's 10,320 metric tons. Australia, New Zealand and Algeria rounded out the top four largest producers.
