Paraguay's lamb production is dropping dramatically. This year it is forecast to be 1,020 metric tons, down 5.6% from 2021's 1,430 metric tons. Since 1966, production has declined by an average of 12.3% each year. In 2021, Paraguay was the 116th highest producer, behind Haiti. Australia, New Zealand and Algeria were the top three producers.
