Kyrgyz lamb production is on the rise. In 2021, the country ranked 30th globally, with 70,700 metric tons of supply. This was an increase of 2.7% year on year since 1997. Looking ahead, supply is expected to reach 78,350 metric tons by 2026, growing at an average of 1.7% year on year. France topped the ranking with 70,700 metric tons, followed by Australia, New Zealand, and Algeria in second, third and fourth place respectively.
