Namibia's Lamb production is set to decline slightly in the next five years. According to projections, it will reach 8,180 metric tons by 2026, down 1.2% year on year. This follows a downward trend since 1966, falling by 0.2% annually. In 2021, Namibia ranked 73rd worldwide in lamb production, with 8,810 metric tons. This was overtaken by Cuba, which produced 8,810 metric tons. Australia, New Zealand and Algeria took the top three spots in the rankings, followed by Namibia.
