Latvian lamb production is set to reach just over 1,000 metric tons by 2026. According to figures, the annual growth rate has averaged 1.3% since 2021 and 2.1% since 1997. Latvia was ranked 125th in 2021, with Montenegro ahead of it at 993 metric tons. Australia, New Zealand and Algeria came in second, third and fourth place respectively.
