Belarusian lamb production is set to decline by an average of 2.3% year-on-year, reaching 1,030 metric tons by 2026. Since 1997, the production has fallen by 4.6% each year. In 2021, Belarus was the 119th largest producer, with Lithuania overtaking it with 1,190 metric tons. Australia, New Zealand and Algeria followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
