German imports of polypropylene are expected to reach 1.03 billion kilograms by 2026, up from 936.9 million kilograms in 2021. This represents a 1.4% year-on-year growth on average since 1996. Italy overtook Germany in 2021 - the two countries, along with Indonesia, were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Exports of polypropylene from Germany, meanwhile, are predicted to fall by a slight 0.2% year-on-year, to 1.12 billion kilograms by 2026, down from 1.12 billion kilograms in 2021. Since 1996, German exports have fallen by 1.2% year-on-year. South Korea topped the list in 2021, followed by Germany, Singapore and Indonesia in 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectively.
