Serbia is set to import 64.6 million kilograms of polypropylene by 2026, up from 53.8 million kilograms in 2021. This is a 2.9% year-on-year average growth rate since 2010. In 2021, Serbia was 44th in the world for polypropylene imports, overtaken by Israel. Italy, Germany and Indonesia were the top three importers. Serbia is also set to export 19.1 million kilograms of polypropylene by 2026, up from 18.2 million kilograms in 2021. This is a 0.6% year-on-year average decline since 2010. In 2021, Serbia was 48th in the world for polypropylene exports, overtaken by Slovenia. South Korea, Germany and Singapore were the top three exporters.
