In 2021, Japan ranked 14th, with Slovakia coming in first at 86 million kilos. Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Exports of propylene are expected to remain unchanged at 839 million kilos by 2026, having dropped 2.5% since 1993. In 2021, South Korea took the top spot at 827 million kilos, with Japan, the Netherlands and the United States in second, third and fourth place respectively.
