Lebanon is set to see an increase in whey imports to the tune of $1.19 million by 2026. This would be a 0.6% growth year-on-year on average since 2002, when imports leapt by 4.2%. Whey exports, however, have fallen by 9.9% since 2017, totalling $4,840 in 2018. This is a 71.1% decrease since 2002. Lebanon ranked 83rd in the world in this regard in 2018, overtaken by Bahrain at $4,840. France, Germany and the Netherlands took the top three spots.
