Irish imports of ammonia are set to reach around $8.7 million in 2026, a 3.1% yearly rise from 2021. Since 1997, annual demand has grown by an average of 3.8%. Meanwhile, exports of ammonia from Ireland dropped to $68,860 in 2018 from $111,350 the previous year, a fall of 38%. Since 1997, Irish supplies have decreased by 0.2% each year. The country was placed 60th in the global rankings in 2018, just behind Slovenia at $68,860. Saudi Arabia, Russia and Indonesia ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
