Estonia is set to see an increase in its ammonia import value over the next five years. By 2026, it is projected to reach nearly $891,000, up from $798,000 in 2021. This equates to an average annual growth rate of 1.9%. Since 2000, the country's demand for ammonia has risen by 8.2% year on year. However, its export of the substance has not been as rosy, with values totalling $298,000 in 2018. This is a 3.3% drop compared to 2017's figure of $309,000. Over the same period, its supply has decreased by 63.7% year on year. In 2018, Estonia was number 51 in the global ranking of ammonia exporters. Chile overtook it to take the top spot with exports totalling $298,000. Saudi Arabia, Russia and Indonesia came in at second, third and fourth place respectively.
