Iran's ammonia export is set to fall 8.2% year on year on average, to $95 million by 2026. In 2021, the country was ninth in terms of exports at $155 million, with the Netherlands leading the way at $155 million. Saudi Arabia, Russia and Indonesia followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Iranian ammonia imports saw a huge surge in 2017, increasing by 47.1% to $27.5 million from $18.7 million the year prior. Since 2002, however, the demand has decreased by 21.3% year on year.
