Saudi Arabia is the world’s biggest exporter of ammonia, with exports expected to reach $2.3 billion by 2026. This is an increase of 3.5% year-on-year from the current level of $1.9 billion in 2021. Since 1996, exports have grown by 9.2% year-on-year. Currently, Trinidad and Tobago is the biggest exporter ahead of Saudi Arabia, Russia and Indonesia. Imports of ammonia into Saudi Arabia are forecast to reach $672 million by 2026, up 1.1% year-on-year from $631 million in 2021. Since 1996, imports have decreased by 1.9% year-on-year.
