Kyrgyzstan is set to see a significant increase in fertilizer imports over the next five years. Since 2007, Kyrgyz demand has jumped by 24.2%. In 2021, the country ranked 99th in imports, with Luxembourg coming top with 9,990 metric tons. Brazil, Spain and Thailand were numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. When it comes to exports, Kyrgyzstan saw a huge increase in 2019, with 1,880 metric tons being shipped out compared to just 6 metric tons in 2018 - a rise of 31,160%. In 2019, the country was in 66th position, with Australia taking the top spot with 1,880 metric tons. Norway, Belgium and Finland were numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
