Since 2007, Gabon's demand for fertilizer has grown an average of 7.9% each year. In 2021, the country ranked 77th in terms of fertilizer imports, overtaken by Albania, which imported 25,490 metric tons. Brazil, Spain, and Thailand were the next three highest importers, respectively.
