Malian fertilizer production is projected to reach 30,300 metric tons by 2026, up 2.8% year-on-year. The country jumped 5% in production since 2013. It held the 27th spot in 2021, overtaking Malaysia with 25,600 metric tons. India, Vietnam, and Indonesia held the second, third, and fourth spots respectively. Malian fertilizer import saw a 36.8% jump from 28,180 metric tons in 2016 to 38,560 metric tons in 2017. Demand has increased 8.1% since 2007. In 2017, Malian fertilizer export sat at 114,460 metric tons, a 1.8% increase from the previous year. However, since 2012, the country's supply has dropped 6.1%.
