Icelandic fertilizer imports are set to reach 33,000 metric tons by 2026, according to official figures. Demand for the agricultural commodity has grown steadily since 2007 at an average rate of 0.2% a year, with current imports at 32,150 metric tons. Peru overtook Iceland's ranking in 2021, with Brazil, Spain and Thailand taking the next three spots.
