Jordan's fertilizer export is forecasted to take a sharp decline in the next five years, dropping by 29.2% from 2021's 24,930 Metric Tons to 3,840 Metric Tons in 2026. Since 2007, the country has seen a 13.8% annual decrease in supply. In 2021, Jordan fell to 42nd place globally, with El Salvador taking the lead at 24,930 Metric Tons. Norway, Belgium and Finland were the second, third and fourth highest. In contrast, Jordanian fertilizer imports are predicted to grow 2.2% each year until 2026, rising from 10,530 Metric Tons in 2021 to 11,990 Metric Tons. Since 2007, demand has increased 1.8% each year. The country fell to 98th place in 2021, the Dominican Republic overtaking it with 10,530 Metric Tons. Brazil, Spain and Thailand were respectively second, third and fourth. In 2014, Jordanian fertilizer production reached 153,000 Metric Tons, up from 120,000 Metric Tons the previous year.
