Since 2001, Ghana has seen a steady rise in wheelchair imports, with an average 37.9% increase year-on-year. In 2018, Ghana was the 18th largest importer of wheelchairs with $230.5 million worth of imports. Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom followed as the next three largest importers.
