Germany is set to export around 1.5 billion kilograms of urea by 2026, a 2% year-on-year increase since 1996. In 2021, it came in at 11th place, overtaken by Poland with 1.35 billion kilograms. Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iran placed second, third and fourth respectively. In terms of imports, Germany is expected to reach 1.01 billion kilograms in 2026, a 1.8% year-on-year CAGR since 1996. It was ninth in 2021, with the Philippines just ahead at 911.5 million kilograms. India, Brazil and Thailand placed second, third and fourth respectively.
