Algerian exports of apple juice are projected to reach nearly 38,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 30,420 kilograms in 2021 – a 3.6% year-on-year increase on average. Since 2013, however, supply has been down 17.1% year-on-year. In 2021, Algeria ranked 87th, with Colombia surpassing the country at 30,420 kilograms. Poland, Germany and Italy were the top three exporters respectively. Meanwhile, imports of Algerian apple juice are expected to reach 963,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 795,330 kilograms in 2021 – a 3.2% year-on-year growth rate. Since 1997, demand has grown 23.7% year-on-year. In 2021, Algeria ranked 80th, with Chile surpassing the country at 795,330 kilograms. Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands were the top three importers respectively.
