South Africa is set to produce an average of 1% more apple juice every year until 2026, rising from 31 million kilograms in 2021 to almost 33 million kilograms. This is an increase of 4.4% since 2005. South Africa is ranked 17th globally in apple juice production, behind Thailand's 31 million kilograms. Poland, Germany and Italy are the second, third and fourth largest producers. The country is set to import about 60 million kilograms of apple juice by 2026, an increase of 2.6% year on year. This is up 3.8% since 2005, with Poland surpassing South Africa in 2021 as the 11th largest importer. Germany, the UK and the Netherlands are the second, third and fourth largest importers.
