Maltese apple juice imports are projected to reach nearly a million kilograms by 2026, according to a recent report. In 2021, the country was 78th in the ranking with 814,350 kilograms, up 12.7% since 2000. Germany, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands took the top spots. Maltese apple juice exports, however, saw a significant decrease in 2018. At 1,030 kilograms, the figure was 81.6% lower than the 5,590 kilograms in 2017. Since 2000, there has been a 18.5% decline. In 2018, Brunei was ahead of Malta, which was in 105th place, while Poland, Germany, and Italy rounded out the top four.
