Romania imported 7,012,500 kilograms of apple juice in 2021, a 2.8% increase from the year prior. This growth rate has been consistent since 1996 when the country ranked 37th in the world. Croatia overtook Romania with 5,944,900 kilograms, with Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands ranking 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, exports of Romanian apple juice fell by 13.1% to 2,364,300 kilograms in 2021, compared to the year before. Since 1996, the supply of apple juice has been decreasing at a rate of 7.9% year-on-year. Romania ranked 42nd in the world in 2021, with the Czech Republic surpassing them to take the lead. Poland, Germany, and Italy came in 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
