Tanzanian pet food imports are set to reach 845,000 kilograms by 2026. This is a 3.3% growth year-on-year since 2000. In 2021, Tanzania ranked 114th, with Greenland surpassing it with 692,000 kilograms. The United Kingdom, France and Italy followed in the rankings. Pet food exports from Tanzania were almost negligible in 2018, with only 14 kilograms being shipped out compared to 2,510 kilograms the year before. This represents a 99.4% decrease since 2013.
