This represents an average annual growth rate of 3.7%. Since 2008, the country's pet food supply has seen a consistent annual increase of 6%. In 2023, Kazakhstan ranked 53rd in global pet food exports, with Iceland surpassing it at the same export volume of roughly 1.25 million kilograms. Leading the rankings were France, the United States, and Poland, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. On the import front, Kazakhstan's pet food demand is expected to reach about 37.6 million kilograms by 2028, rising from 31.8 million kilograms in 2023. This would mean an average yearly growth rate of 2.7%. Since 2006, the country's pet food imports have grown at an annual rate of 3.2%.
