Saint Lucia's pet food imports are projected to rise to approximately 966,000 kilograms by 2028, up from around 878,000 kilograms in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 1.5%. Notably, since 1997, the demand for pet food in Saint Lucia has increased by about 2.1% annually. On the export front, Saint Lucia saw a significant boost in 2016, exporting roughly 4,300 kilograms of pet food, up from 2,800 kilograms in 2015. This represents an impressive 53% increase compared to the previous year. From 2012 onward, the country's pet food supply has grown at an average annual rate of 11%.
