In the global rankings for 2023, Russia stood at 21st place, with Denmark surpassing it by exporting around 69 million kilograms. Leading the list were France, the United States, and Poland, securing the second, third, and fourth spots respectively. On the import side, Russia's pet food demand is set to reach 179.5 million kilograms by 2028, rising from 156.2 million kilograms in 2023, also at an average annual growth rate of 2.2%. Since 2001, Russian demand for pet food has grown at an average rate of 3% per year.
