Russian pet food exports are set to hit 75 million kilograms by 2026, up from 65 million kilograms in 2021, growing at an average rate of 2.4% year on year. Since 2001, Russian supply has risen 1.7% annually. In 2021, Denmark overtook Russia with 65 million kilograms, with Russia ranking 21st. France, the United States and the Netherlands followed, respectively, in second, third and fourth place. Meanwhile, Russian pet food imports are projected to reach 170 million kilograms by 2026, up from 147 million kilograms in 2021, growing at an average rate of 2.4% year on year. Since 2001, Russian demand has increased 8.3% year on year. The Czech Republic overtook Russia with 147 million kilograms in 2021, placing Russia at 15th. The United Kingdom, France and Italy followed, respectively, in second, third and fourth place.
