Since 2010, the country's pet food supply has surged by an average of 6.1% annually. In 2023, Bosnia ranked 43rd in global pet food exports, with Finland surpassing it with the same export volume. Leading the global rankings were France, the United States, and Poland, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. On the import side, Bosnia's pet food demand is set to reach roughly 18 million kilograms by 2028, rising from about 14.9 million kilograms in 2023. This represents an average annual growth rate of 3%. Since 2008, Bosnian pet food imports have increased by 6.8% each year.
