Ukraine was 33rd in the world for imports in 2021, with Croatia coming in ahead at 62.5 million kilograms. The United Kingdom, France, and Italy took the next three spots in the ranking. Exports of pet food from Ukraine are also expected to rise, reaching 6.1 million kilograms by 2026, an average growth rate of 2.5% year-on-year from 5.2 million kilograms in 2021. Since 2008, supply of exports has increased 6.2% annually. Ukraine was 43rd in the world for exports in 2021, with Romania just ahead of them at 5.2 million kilograms. France, the United States, and the Netherlands were 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the ranking.
