Cyprus is set to become a major exporter of pet food in the coming years. The country is projected to export 446,400 kilograms of pet food by 2026, a 14.5% increase from 2021. In 2021, Cyprus ranked 65th in pet food exports, with Ecuador at the top of the list at 394,530 kilograms. France, the United States and the Netherlands followed, respectively, at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots. Cyprus is also expected to become a major importer of pet food. The country is projected to import 20,018,000 kilograms of pet food by 2026, a 3% increase from 2021. In 2021, Cyprus ranked 60th in pet food imports, with Paraguay at the top of the list at 17,810,000 kilograms. The United Kingdom, France and Italy followed, respectively, at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots.
