Lebanese pet food imports are projected to reach nearly 13.9 million kilograms by 2028, up from approximately 11.5 million kilograms in 2023. This represents an annual growth rate of 3%. Since 2002, the demand for pet food in Lebanon has seen an annual increase of 4.2%. On the export front, Lebanese pet food exports surged to 4,120 kilograms in 2018, up from 3,830 kilograms in 2017. This marks a 7.5% increase compared to the previous year. However, despite this recent uptick, Lebanon's pet food supply has experienced a significant decline of 28.3% annually since 2006.
