In 2023, Belarus ranked 57th in global pet food exports, with Ecuador surpassing it by exporting about 464,000 kilograms. France, the United States, and Poland held the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively, in the same ranking. On the import front, Belarusian pet food imports are anticipated to rise to nearly 50 million kilograms by 2028 from about 41 million kilograms in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 2.9%. Since 2003, the country's demand for pet food has seen a significant increase, growing by 5% year on year.
