Botswana’s gelatin import is set to soar to 38,280 kilograms by 2026 – a 4.6% year-on-year increase. Since 2005, demand has grown 66.3%. In 2021, Botswana was ranked 89th, while Armenia overtook with 29,110 kilograms. Germany, the United Kingdom and Belgium took the second, third and fourth spots respectively. Botswana’s gelatin export, however, is expected to decline by 2.8% year-on-year, falling to 12.74 kilograms by 2026. Since 2011, supply has dropped by 5.6%. In 2021, Botswana was ranked 78th, while New Caledonia overtook with 15 kilograms. Germany, Belgium and China came in second, third and fourth respectively.
