Lebanese Gelatin imports are expected to drop 11.4% over the next five years, from 84,170 kilograms in 2021 to 42,330 kilograms in 2026. Since 2002, Lebanese demand has grown 3.3% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 76th in imports, as Luxembourg overtook with 84,170 kilograms. Germany, the United Kingdom and Belgium followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Meanwhile, Lebanese gelatin exports skyrocketed 1,030% from 260 kilograms in 2017 to 2,940 kilograms in 2018. Since 2004, Lebanese supply has decreased by 41.8% each year. In 2018, the country ranked 65th in exports, with the Philippines coming in first with 2,940 kilograms. Germany, Belgium and China followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
