Libya's vaccination coverage is projected to drop significantly over the next five years. By 2028, only 58 percent of children aged one year are expected to be vaccinated, compared to the current 67 percent in 2023. This represents an average annual decline of around 2 percentage points. The trend is not new. Since 1985, Libya's vaccination rates have been consistently decreasing at an average rate of 1.7 percentage points each year.
