Burmese Vaccination Coverage for one-year-old children is projected to hit 90% by 2028, a modest increase from the current 89% reported in 2023. On another front, a different statistic shows a slightly more optimistic trend. Vaccination coverage among one-year-olds is anticipated to reach 94% by 2028, up from 92% in 2023. This also reflects an annual growth rate of 0.2 percentage points, but since 1987, the coverage has been increasing by the same rate annually. In terms of vaccine imports, Myanmar is expected to see significant growth. The value of vaccine imports is set to reach approximately $34 million by 2028, up from around $27 million in 2023. This marks an annual growth rate of 3.6%. Since 2015, the demand for vaccines in Myanmar has been growing at an annual rate of 1.8%.
