Ukraine is set to become a major player in hemp production by 2026. This year, the country will produce 674.4 metric tons of hemp, a slight increase from 657 metric tons in 2021. Ukraine's production of hemp has grown at an average rate of 0.4% annually since 1997. The country ranked sixth for hemp production in 2021, with Spain overtaking it with 657 metric tons. China, Russia and Chile were numbers two, three and four, respectively.
