Japanese caviar exports are set to reach 1.6 million kilograms by 2026, up 7% from 1993. In 2021, the US led with 1.4 million kilograms, followed by China, Kazakhstan and Germany. Meanwhile, imports of Japanese caviar are expected to total 2.2 million kilograms by 2026, down 5.2% from 1993. In 2021, Russia led the way with 2.5 million kilograms, followed by Japan, South Korea and the US.
