Bulgarian caviar import is expected to reach roughly 126,000 kilograms by 2026, according to a new report. That's up from 100,000 kilograms in 2021, a 3.6% year-on-year growth. Since 2001, demand has grown 7.2% annually. Bulgaria was ranked 29th in 2021, while Poland was ahead with 100,000 kilograms. Japan, South Korea and the U.S. came in second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Bulgarian caviar export is forecast to hit around 13,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 10,200 kilograms in 2021, which is a 3.7% annual increase. Since 2001, supply has decreased 0.6% year-on-year. Bulgaria was 36th in 2021, with the U.K. overtaking at 10,200 kilograms. China, Kazakhstan and Germany took second, third and fourth places, respectively.
